Our Story

We have a story to tell, all of us, who knew Dr Willliams' School. Now we are telling that story here, opening a window on an education that learners today might think quaint, even antediluvian. Anyone with an interest in local history and the history of education in Wales can read about our experience of schooldays in Dolgellau. We came from all over the country, from across the world and of course from Merioneth itself.

Our stories interpret times within living memory. As the site grows they will become a unique resource in their own right.
