20th July 1964, diary entry of an Upper Fourth pupil - "It was the House swimming match today. Pen won, hurray! It was exciting, we had 30 points. The second was 26. Heather was dead good, her breaststroke was marvellous and Lynne won at the Butterfly. Good old Pen."
