Summer Term 1917 'One glorious hour of crowded life'

This page, from the June 1918 School magazine, describes the end of term the previous summer. There was a tennis tournament and 'historical walks' to Owen Glyndwer's Oak and the famous Sundial, to Cymmer Abbey and to Llanelltyd to see The Pilgrim's Stone. Meanwhile the Sports, organised by the fourth form and miss Lewis, was a 'brilliant success'. Miss Ingram's Concert Party entertainment served as a rehearsal for the evening performance at Caerynwch Auxiliary Military Hospital. Then came Packing Day!
