The only thing I remember starting to make in needlework was a pair of 'Baby Doll' pyjamas. Choice of material purple hearts or bright green poodles. The 'pantees', as the needlework teacher referred to them, stretched across an entire table before they were cut out. I don't think I ever finished them and certainly never wore them!
