This is a picture of Ann Taylor, Sue Ogden & Katie Owen.

It is taken in the gardens at Pen y Coed, a school house, when we were in the Lower IVths. Note the sturdy brown lace-ups, probably Start-rites, Daniel Neal issue.

Ann Taylor was a girl from Manchester with a huge sense of fun, in spite of great personal family loss. We were friends for 10 years in school and her strength and sense of humour made our lives in school infinitely better, especially in the sixth form.
