The funeral of Winston Churchill - teenage diary 1965

This diary entry is devoted entirely to impressions of the State funeral of Sir Winston Churchill on January 30th 1965. A black and white television was placed on the stage in the hall. There must have been about 250 of us watching.The diary notes 'We missed prep (sic) to see the service and the procession'
