'There is no Rose of such Virtue'- words mediaeval- music by John Joubert and 'A Christmas Carol' Hungarian traditional tune, arranged Zoltan Kodaly were sung by The Madrigal Society.
'Cradle Song of the Virgin'- Brahms op.91 for voice, viola and piano.

'THE WAKEFILED SECOND SHEPHERD'S PLAY OF THE NATIVITY From the Towneley Manuscript (fifteenth century). The Playwright combined the story of the Nativity with a pseudo-nativity, borrowed from folk-lore, involving a stolen sheep. The characters being a group of shepherds, Mak, a sheep-stealer and Gib, his wife.
