Long John Knickers

Strictly not uniform, pupils sported these knickers in defiance of school rules & Daniel Neal regulations, Made of bri-nylon, very modish in the 60s! See the related story at the side of humiliations wearing these knickers.

Pleased to see this pair still sports its Cash's nametape.

My Long Johns were bright red tartan. I wore them to a Rangers meeting at Penycoed on the day Miss Salway (the Ranger captain) decided we would test the vertical ladder fire escapes. She was climbing just behind me and was not impressed.
